Install Agent X on Windows
Agent X on one Windows PC, for one person. The data stays on that PC. This guide is for whoever sets the PC up, and for the IT team that looks after it.
What it installs
- Everything goes in
%LOCALAPPDATA%\AgentX, the user's own folder. - No admin rights: no Windows service, no firewall rule, no change to the system.
- Its web server listens only on this PC (
127.0.0.1, one port between 47800 and 47809).
Before installing
The installer checks the PC before it copies anything. If something required is missing, it does not install and says what would need to change; if something optional is missing, it installs with that feature off.

Install
- Download the installer from the customer portal (Downloads).
- Run
AgentX-Setup-<version>.exeas the user who will use Agent X. - Read the check's results. Anything turned off can be turned on later, after IT changes it.
- When it finishes, Agent X opens and walks you through your company, your AI accounts and your team.
After installing
Agent X starts with Windows and lives in the tray. It updates itself in the maintenance window you choose, never during a call, and keeps a daily backup of its data. The same pre-flight check runs any time from the tray icon (System check).
